Spa Rules & Etiquette

Appointments:
It is suggested that you book your treatment 48 hours in advance, so that you can benefit from the time you prefer, and generously facilitate our organization. Guests can contact reception. Outside customers can contact us by phone: +351 9623887 or by email reservas@cerradodasfontainas.com

Arrival at the SPA:
It is suggested that you arrive at the SPA 10 minutes before the scheduled time. You can also enjoy the Turkish Bath / Sauna before or after your treatment. The delay in your appointment can compromise the following treatments and in this sense, suffer a reduction in time. If you are late, please contact us so we can schedule another time. If you are staying with ours, feel free to use the bathrobe that we provide in your room on your visit to the SPA. We also suggest that you leave your valuables in the room, however, if you prefer, lockers are available in the SPA. We suggest you bring your bikini for water experiences and saunas.

Cancellations and Changes:
If you need to cancel or change your appointment, prior notice is requested the day before. Cancellations on the same day, we reserve the right to charge the full amount.

Health and Special Care:
Pregnancy cases, medical restrictions or any anomalous conditions must be communicated when scheduling your treatment.

You can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, the sauna and the Turkish bath – Deep detoxification and cleansing of the body. Bring your bathing suit, we have everything you need for your visit. This service is subject to prior appointment and availability. Note: use is free for guests. Saunas should be used sparingly and a bathing suit is recommended. Usage and time may vary depending on each individual's purpose. We recommend using 15 to 20 minutes in the dry sauna. Turkish bath (moist heat) is ideal for opening the skin pores, awakening and cleaning the respiratory system. It is not recommended for those with heart problems, high blood pressure or serious circulation problems. It is advisable to take a shower before entering the saunas. At the end, it is suggested to take a cold shower, to close the pores and the body to return to its normal functions.
