Arjun Verma began his journey with his father, Roop Verma, and continued his apprenticeship with the legendary Ali Akbar Khan and his son Alam Khan. Arjun's meticulous training led him to a very rich musicality enveloped in a majestic depth and joy typical of North Indian classical music.

Hailed by the New York Times as a “fine sitarist”, Arjun shares the gems of his cultural heritage in an innovative, modern and relevant way, while maintaining a high standard of traditional integrity.
